"I don't judge a person who hears my words but does not obey them. I didn't come to judge the world. I came to save it. But there is a judge for anyone who does not accept me and my words. The very words I have spoken will judge him on the last day. "I did not speak on my own. The Father who sent me commanded me what to say. He also told me how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So everything I say is just what the Father has told me to say." - John 12:47-50 NIrV
The world Christ came to save includes those who ultimately reject and do not believe His words. The lost couldn't be guilty of rejecting words that result in eternal life, if salvation wasn't really being offered to them. Eternal life can't really be offered to someone for whose sins Christ did not die. There are many reasons and passages of Scripture that convince me Jesus' death paid for all Men's sins, but this is one of the most persuasive. Do you agree or disagree, and why?
